We have a variety of great teachers that teach guitar (electric and acoustic), resonator guitar (resophonic or lapstyle), banjo (bluegrass or Skruggs style and clawhammer), bass, mandolin, mountain dulcimer, and piano. Come in or contact us, and we will answer any questions you may have and help you set up your lessons.

Randy Pasley grew up in Grassy Creek, North Carolina, and began playing music as a child. He owns and operates bluemoon guitars and music, and gives lessons in guitar (electric and acoustic), resonator guitar (resophonic or lapstyle), banjo (bluegrass or Skruggs style and clawhammer), bass, and mandolin. Randy is a three-time first place winner in the Dobro category and Best All-Around Performer at Galax, Virginia's Old Time Fiddlers' Convention. |

Steve Lewis was raised in Todd, North Carolina, where he still resides. He teaches private lessons at bluemoon guitars and music, teaches the Mountain Music class at Ashe County High School, and conducts workshops at several festivals across the nation each year. Steve is also active in the contest arena. Some of the contests he has won are: National Bluegrass Banjo Championship, New England Banjo Championship, Wayne Henderson Guitar Contest, Merlefest banjo and guitar championships, Renofest banjo and guitar contests, Galax Old Fiddler’s Convention banjo and guitar contests, and many regional competitions. Steve has also coached other national contest winners. In addition, he works with several different band configurations performing at various venues across the nation each year. Obviously, his strongest areas are bluegrass banjo and flat pick guitar, but during lessons with him, he will guide you through the basics that are required for all guitar styles. |

John Littlewood is a professional guitarist with over 30 years of experience in many styles including: Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Blues, Fusion, Country, and even Beach and Disco. He offers comprehensive lessons geared for the aspiring electric guitarist which include practical applications of effects and amplification. John accepts beginning and intermediate level students, and if desired, can included music theory and reading traditional music or tablature notation |
